The HP large-format printing materials portfolio for HP Latex Ink printers includes seven recyclable substrates1 and a range of PVC-free alternatives. The HP Large-format Media take-back program is a free and convenient return and recycling program that makes it easy for you and your customers to return HP recyclable media1. Simply pack up eligible printing materials. HP picks up the shipping expense and handles sorting and recycling.
Hewlett-Packard large-format printing materials are guaranteed to meet HP published specifications, to be free of manufacturing flaws and defects, and are designed to resist paper jams when used correctly.

Third-party media

Many third-party companies, including print media and substrate manufacturers, are working with HP through our Registered Latex Developer Program to offer a wide range of products that have been tested with HP Latex Inks and the HP Designjet L25500 Printer series. This includes media suitable for banners, signage, vehicle-wraps and many other graphics applications. These non-HP substrates complement the already extensive range of compatible media options available from HP.

To ensure seamless integration with existing workflows and provide a broad choice of compatible digital printing solutions, HP works with many of the leading Raster Imager Processor (RIP) and workflow solution providers. HP continues to expand our successful RIP Certification Program which centers on an extensive set of criteria that verifies the compatibility and integration of these third-party products with the HP Designjet L25500 Printer series, to ensure optimal printing performance and productivity. Only products that have undergone testing by HP and have met the necessary performance requirements are awarded "Certified for HP Designjet L25500" status.
1 HP offers the HP Large-format Media take-back program in the U.S. and Europe, through which most HP recyclable signage media can be returned, availability varies. Some recyclable papers can be recycled through commonly available recycling programs. For details visit www.hp.com/recycle. Aside from this program, recycling opportunities for these products are currently only available in limited areas. Customers should consult local recycling resources for recycling these products. |
